March 2007 ART EXHIBIT:

Connie Lanseigne-Case


In March 2007, the Library is featuring an exhibit of Pelham artist Connie Lanseigne-Case's art work.   Connie works in a variety of media including watercolor, colored pencil, wood block printing, sumi-e and photography.  

Dr. Connie Lanseigne-Case, a retired educator, has had a passion for travel for over fifty years, having taught, studied, and visited countries on six continents.  Much of the art displayed depicts favorite places photographed on trips beginning in the early 1990s.  The slides of memorable places were studied to create the art.  The collection focuses particularly on Nepal where she trekked in 2000.
